About Thirriwirri

Welcome to Thirriwirri. We are a 100% Aboriginal owned business that brings together the extensive experience, insights and passions of long-time friends and colleagues, Jason Ardler and David Major. Thirriwirri are also fortunate to have recruited a team of experienced professionals that bring a wealth of knowledge from a range of industries.

Our purpose in establishing Thirriwirri is to make available to others, our knowledge and experience, to support them in building their own strong, successful and adaptive communities and organisations.

Thirriwirri is the Muktung (Maneroo) word for Ironbark. Ironbark is tough, textured and enduring, rooted deeply and firmly in Country and culture. It represents our commitment to working with tenacity and perseverance to deliver quality services and solutions for our clients and partners.

Together, we share more than 100 years’ of senior executive experience, leading innovative strategy and change management. This experience reaches across such diverse areas as economic participation, community engagement and governance, cultural heritage and land management, social policy, community safety and wellbeing, education, environmental health and service accountability.

Thirriwirri also collaborate with highly skilled associates who bring different and complimentary expertise to our work.
